Non-Profit Logo Concepts
During my graphical studies, part of our exercises was to practice breaking down concepts of identity pieces of obscure non-profit organizations and reformat them in a way that helps to enhance the client, object, or service. At the time of creation, I chose to go with Camp Fire USA and Military Women of America.
Work shown here were merely sample pieces, nothing more.

Camp Fire USA
Currently known as just Camp Fire (Not Camp Fire USA), this organization is a co-ed youth development group that is based out of Kansas City, MO. My design was to maintain a flame as the main logo, but incorporate a meaning of people coming together to bond and grow.

Military Women of America
This non-profit group is no longer listed, but the main goals and ideas behind their campaign was to protest for better equality of female rights to service positions within the military branches. For example, most combat arms professions, such as infantry and tank units, are prohibited for most women.
This is how I broke down my design plan and choice for a possible logo.
